Azimuth & Elevation Positioner
IMC’s high-performance Azimuth & Elevation Positioner delivers an industry-leading weight-to-size ratio with a payload torque of 70 Nm. Compact and lightweight, it supports various payloads, including antennas, integrated antenna-electronics units, cameras, and laser pointers.
The positioner features a dual rotary joint, accommodating frequency ranges from DC-18 GHz or up to 40 GHz, based on customer specifications. Integrated slip rings provide connections for multiple DC voltage lines, up to two Ethernet lines, and additional control lines as required.
Equipped with an intuitive GUI, the positioner enables manual and automated azimuth/elevation control, GPS-based pointing, and closed-loop tracking, including RSSI and monopulse tracking. The provided interface protocol allows seamless integration with custom hardware or software.
Standard interfacing is through a dedicated Ethernet line, with optional RS-422 or RS-232 interfaces available. Engineered for 24/7 operation, it ensures high-duty-cycle performance under all environmental and weather conditions.
Best weight to performance ratio
Suitable for Cameras, Antennas, laser pointer and more.
Modular structure enables removing functions if the customer does not need them such as removing the rotary joint when working with cameras or removing control lines and Ethernet lines that are not in use.
Designed for 24/7 high duty cycle operation in all weather conditions.
Two Ethernet lines to the payload.
Dual rotary joint DC to 18Ghz or DC to 40Ghz.
